Project Overview
Officially known as the Stara Zagora State Opera, it is the first opera house in Bulgaria outside the capital. Opera in Stara Zagora dates back to July 1, 1925, when the opera "Gergana" was staged in the city. In collaboration with a developer from Stara Zagora, we united in the idea to redesign the website of the Opera House in the city.

A pHp programmer contacted me with the idea to reDesign the Homepage of the Opera house.
The idea was simple - to breathe new life into the platform, making it neat and simple.
He had the knowledge and the tools to create it.
What he didn't was the vision for it, that is where stepped in.

So what I did was
To do a little research among the other cultural platforms in Bulgaria and outside such as the website of Fesival in Cannes and the opera house in Paris and London. That was my starting point.
Visual Direction
The platform needed to feel cultural and royal.
I got to decide on the colors and typography. I am certain that a serif font is best for the art and culture industry + a sans serif for the paragraphs and small texts and links.
Main color black for neatness and minimalistic look as it if you are in the hall and the perfrmance is about to begin. Golden color for royalty and class, bringing beautiful decoration.
It's elegant and familiar.
